JR has been a paramedic for Ada County for the last 9 years. I also work for Ada County Paramedics in the Logistics Department. JR and I have known each other since middle school. He liked me in highschool, but I thought he was too goofy. We started dating our second year in college. We were married August 14th 2004 and had our little Madison July 30th 2008. Colin completed our family on October 11th, 2011.

Egg-stravaganza at the zoo!!!

Miss Madison put the basket on her head because it was windy outside. Going down the giraffe slide she looks so serious (or having a bowel movement) Mommy and Madison on the seal Riding on an elephant watching the Merkats sitting on the baby tiger Daddy and his little girl Madison wanted to sit on the big tiger, but the sign said "No" My favorite animal the sloth bear. She loves the animals The tigers were in a playful mood playing with their Easter toys. Daddy and Madison watching the monkeys swinging around headed to the zoo (not liking this picture) Daddy... if he looked any happier I think his face would crack (He's fighting a cold) Madison after I took the first picture Madison after she found out her surprise was the zoo Madison and Aspen Sunday was the Boise Zoo's egg-stravaganza and boy was it busy. We ended up signing up for the family pass and added Mic so now we can go all year long for free! It will be a nice alternative for us to do even if it's just for 30 min. Madison loved all of the animals and I think JR and I enjoy them just as much. There were people dressed up in "mascot" outfits and Madison was so concerned where they were the entire time we were at the zoo. Overall it was a great day and glad that we had this family time together. JR has been working a lot lately (some weeks it's been 90+ hours). I know I should be greatful that he has two jobs and that I am able to be home the majority of the time, but we really do miss him and with me being pregnant sometimes I'd just like a little more help and understanding from him.

March/April

Alex, Olivia, and Madison Madison singing in the mirror and doing her hair Playing guitar, she was singing a song about when Mommy was my age. She had found an old photo album of mine that had pictures of me when I was in grade school. Playing guitar with Daddy Jr was putting something on the back of the washing maching and Madison wanted to hold his legs so he didn't fall. I thought this picture was too funny to pass up. Madison paying for her groceries at Jabbers in Nampa Madison and Alex and Alex's birthday party. Madison and Alex (she was so excited for his party, she talked about it all week) seasoning her food on the grill with the lanter :)

Sorry, it's been awhile since I have posted, but JR has been working a lot and I have also been busy. If you haven't gathered by the baby status on the top of the blog, JR and I are expecting our second child in the middle of October. I am 12 weeks today and so far the first 12 weeks haven't been too bad. I have been tired, but no morning sickness and only a little gaggy compared to what I was when I was pregnant with Madison. Madison is excited, she tells me she has a baby in her back :)

We are trying to get the house cleaned and clear of clutter so we feel like we have some space. Madison is going to be moving into the guest room and her room will become the babies room. We are trying to find Madison new bedroom furniture, but I can't find what I have pictured in my mind :)

Madison and I flew up to Coeur d'Alene for a short weekend trip. We had a very nice time and like always don't want to go home. Papa took Madison to the library on Friday morning after we had coffee at the local coffee shop. Yesterday, we took Madison to the indoor water park. It's a very nice place, but the kids area had too many big kids running around, which scared Madison. We didn't stay for very long, but it was nice to play in the water for a little while.

Madison relaxing in bed with Daddy

What a month so far. Yesterday, we had sunshine, snow, hail, rain, and thunder/lightning plus a pile up on the connector!!!! Jr has been working his butt of the past two months. We are lucky if we get to see him one day a week. I honestly can say that I can't wait for this month to be over. Madison and JR both ended up with that nasty cold and both of them still have a cough and snotty nose. Madison had an ear infection this past week.
We did have a wonderful weekend last week with my Mom here. Mom had a facial with me on Friday and then we met up with Mic and Madison for lunch. I had to go back to work, but Mom and Mic took Madison to a basketball game. My daughter would be the only one who whips out her blow dryer and starts doing her hair during the middle of the game!!!! Mom and Mic took Madison Saturday night so that JR and I could have a date night. We had a wonderful night, but started out a little iffy. We both got calls from work asking us to come in, but we were both able to dodge that bullet!!! We were very sad to take Mom to the airport Sunday, but Madison and I will be flying up in March to see Papa, Grandma, and Kelty.

Around 9pm at night, she is supposed to be sleeping!!!

Madison just told Aunt Mic that she was having a bad day without Daddy, that's so sad :( We haven't had anything new going on this past week, but here are some new photos. Madison is still doing everything that she can to stall going to bed. The other night she informed me that her legs were broken.
