JR has been a paramedic for Ada County for the last 9 years. I also work for Ada County Paramedics in the Logistics Department. JR and I have known each other since middle school. He liked me in highschool, but I thought he was too goofy. We started dating our second year in college. We were married August 14th 2004 and had our little Madison July 30th 2008. Colin completed our family on October 11th, 2011.

CDA Summer 2012

JR and I went shooting for Fathers day.  I wanted to make sure that he got to do something that he enjoyed with me for a change.

I was nervous, but did pretty well

I love this adorable baby boy

What's this... can I eat it?

Madison (with gold fish in her mouth), Aunt Mic, and Colin.  We were all headed to the community pool

Colin climbing up to cuddle with Aspen and Madison trying to stop him.

Grandma, Colin, and Madison enjoying our very large pool!!!

Grandma tooting Colin and Madison around the cabin

They did great in the wagon until Colin tried to move and then Madison decided to try and throw him out.

Madison and Colin working on increasing their buffalo arms.  We asked Madison if she was going to get buff arms and she said she was getting "buffalo arms"

Miss Madison earned her keep at the cabin.  She helped Papa load this entire wagon with wood that Daddy and Papa had cut, but then Papa high centered the ATV!!!

Daddy and Colin!!

It had been a long day with short naps

dutch oven lasagna....mmm.  Thanks Mom for making it and Dad and JR for doing the dutch oven part.   You are a true master babe!!!!

sweet Kelty Girl... of the three dogs she was the only one who stayed outside.   Demon was on the deck and Aspen was in the cabin.

Colin enjoying one of his many meals

Colin playing in the playpen at the cabin.  He loved to push his face against the screen.

Colin was pretty tired and fussy at this point.  So we tried to give him a bath in the sink like we did with his sister at this age.  He was getting a dose of tylenol for teething.

Not happy Grandma and Mommy!!!

Jr and me enjoying some time together, but I don't look good...ugh!!!

Colin loved the swing Grandma and Daddy hooked up and Madison loved to spin him around and around until I had to tell her to stop so he didn't get too dizzy

Colin fell asleep right before we hit Wainger beach and then he just woke up.

Madison and Mommy getting used to the water

We have found our water baby.  Colin stayed in the lake the entire time we were  at the beach which was a couple hours.  He chilled in his lifejacket and would just float.

More floating.  He sure does take after me.  Colin and I were in the water until it was time for the boat to pull away.

Mommy, Colin, and Madison

Colin floated in the tube for hours

Look whose not in the water... Daddy!!!

My other water baby.... she did so awesome swimming in the lake.  She even jumped off of the back of the boat with Papa twice!!!

More of Colin just chilling in the water.  He was more than happy to just push himself around on the rocks.

starting to get tired.

Perfect life!!!!

Colin was completely relaxed laying on his back and floating in his lifejacket without us hanging onto him.

Madison helping Mommy make one of her favorite foods.  Deviled eggs.

We had a wonderful time in CDA.  We were able to spend a weekend up at the cabin and then go out on the boat twice.  We also spent everyday downtown by the lake either at the park, shopping, or the library.  The weather was perfect for everything we did.  We were even able to see my Grandma twice and to visit with our good friends the Zahnows and the  Rocks. I just wish we had more time to visit with all of our friends.  I am so thankful that we could spend a week up there, but I truly wish that we could move up there.  It's just home.......
