About Me

JR has been a paramedic for Ada County for the last 9 years. I also work for Ada County Paramedics in the Logistics Department. JR and I have known each other since middle school. He liked me in highschool, but I thought he was too goofy. We started dating our second year in college. We were married August 14th 2004 and had our little Madison July 30th 2008. Colin completed our family on October 11th, 2011.

And......

We are having a BOY!!!!!! I can't believe it, but it's true our ultrasound confirmed that our little baby is going to be a boy. Madison is very excited that she will have a little brother, but she doesn't understand that she can't buy him a tutu or Daddy might flip a lid:)

This past week JR, Madison, and I were in Disney World with our friends Lori, Chris, Luke, and Leslie. We rented a house with them and had a wonderful time. The house had a princess room for Madison, but she slept on the floor in our room, a Mickey Mouse room for Luke, and two master suites. It also had a pool and hot tub that Chris and JR were able to enjoy every night while Lori and I put the kids down. We were lucky to have Chris's mom come and help us with the kids. It was such an enjoyable trip and it's tough to be back home, this was our first vacation in 8 years!!!!

After this past week I think we were all ready to celebrate something beautiful and wonderful. I have to admit that I was very excited for the Royal wedding and not because I thought I was going to marry Prince William when I was a teenager. It's not very often that you get to watch a girl become a Princess, or Duchess in this case. Mic came over for the taped wedding and we had stuffed mushrooms, artichoke dip, and Mic made a really good blueberry dessert. Madison kept asking where the Charm was and I think she meant Prince Charming. Mic realized that it's not very relaxing to watch anything over here with a 2 1/2 year old.
