JR has been a paramedic for Ada County for the last 9 years. I also work for Ada County Paramedics in the Logistics Department. JR and I have known each other since middle school. He liked me in highschool, but I thought he was too goofy. We started dating our second year in college. We were married August 14th 2004 and had our little Madison July 30th 2008. Colin completed our family on October 11th, 2011.

Birthday and First day of school

Madison has had a very busy month.  She turned 4 the end of July and then went up to Grandma and Papas all by herself for a week.  She had a wonderful time and flew back with Aunt Mic for the first time.

My beautiful girl in her bedroom!!
This past week she started preschool at The Challenger School. She has done great, no tears or anything on her end, but mine is a whole different story. I took half a day off on her first day. We take her to school and they came on and got her from the car and then three hours later we come to pick her up and they bring her back to the car. JR will be the one who takes her to and from school. It is Tuesday and Thursdays from 1245 to 330.

Preschool uniform... she only wears 1 day a week

Colin is growing by leaps and bounds.  He sleeps wonderfully, but still wakes up once a night for a bottle.  We are able to put him to bed fully awake and he will just lay there and fall asleep.  We are working on Madison for bed.  We are doing a reward chart that has a couple of rules (go potty before bed, mommy and daddy will only lay with her once, no talking to us once we leave the room, and she must stay in bed. )  She is pretty good at all of them, but the one we can't seem to break her on is the talking to us.  I am so so glad we sleep trained Colin!!!
