Happy Birthday Baby Girl!!!

Miss Madison's first pedicure!!!!

Madison, Grandma, and Aunt Mic
I guess I shouldn't call Madison a baby anymore since she is turning 5 tomorrow!!!! I can't believe that my baby girl is turning 5 and will be starting Kindergarten in less than a month.

Madison is the busy lady these next couple of weeks.  Grandma and Papa came down this weekend to celebrate an early birthday.  The "girls" went and had pedicures Saturday morning.  Madison did great, but you could tell she was nervous.  She didn't move a muscle and that includes any muscles that require smiling :)  I had to remind her that it was ok to smile and relax some.  She seemed to enjoy it though.

Yesterday, we went to Roaring Springs with Mom, Dad, Aunt Mic, brother, and Mommy and Daddy.  Mom rented a cabana which was really nice.  Madison ventured off and did some of the kid slides into the kiddy pool.  She had such a big smile on her face when she'd zip down the slide.  She'd tell us she was gonna do it again and would walk up that path all by herself!!!!  Colin was pretty timid at first, but once it began to warm up he had a great time on in the lazy river and the slides.  He just loves being in the water!

Tomorrow night we are taking Madison to the restaurant of her choice, which is the Spaghetti Factory... aka the train restaurant.  She then leaves for Coeurd ' Alene with Aunt Mic on Wednesday where she will stay with Grandma and Papa until next Monday.  We will all then head up to CDA on August 13th!!!

Happy 4th of July!!!!

Two Blogs in one week!!!!  I must be on a role.  I just have a couple of pictures from my phone to post this time, but wanted to show my kiddos on the 4th.  Luckily it fell on a day that JR and I both had off, so we made sure it was a fun family day.... NO CHORES!!!  We hung out at the pool for about an 1.5 hrs before Colin got too cold, climbed out of the pool and walked to the gate and pointed at our bikes.  He knows what he wants and when he wants it.  We rode our bikes down the the pool and then rode around the community.  Afterwards, we got ready to head to a friends bbq.  The kids were the only ones there, but they did great and had fun.  Colin can entertain himself by simply walking up a step and jumping off of it.

This is the first 4th of July that we have not had to medicate Aspen, other than when we go to the cabin.  Avimor does not allow fireworks, which I am completly ok with.  It was quiet and peaceful... the night cooled off and we were able to open the windows and fall asleep by 10 pm.  This must be a sign that we're getting old!!!!

Madison found her reindeer headband and tulle from her winter dance and decided it was appropriate for the 4th!!
