JR has been a paramedic for Ada County for the last 9 years. I also work for Ada County Paramedics in the Logistics Department. JR and I have known each other since middle school. He liked me in highschool, but I thought he was too goofy. We started dating our second year in college. We were married August 14th 2004 and had our little Madison July 30th 2008. Colin completed our family on October 11th, 2011.

What a wonderful, relaxing week we had in CDA this summer!!!! We spent a couple of wonderful days up at the cabin with the entire family and the Sommer's. We were able to enjoy the boat this year on Lake Pend'Orielle and swimming in Lake Coeur d'Alene. I actually felt like I was able to relax this trip. We did some shopping, took Madison down to NIC beach for a picnic dinner, also spent a couple of mornings at the City Park with Madison. I can't believe how easily Madison let us put on her life jacket and how much she loved the water. She was just like Aunt Mic and I when we were little, she was so cold that she could barely stand and she still wouldn't get out of the water. Mark, Dad, and JR weren't able to be with us the entire trip, but when they were with us we had a really nice time. The dogs enjoy it up there also, with the cooler weather as well as digging up at the cabin. I would really like to live up there someday. I didn't realize how lucky/spoiled we were growing up; it only takes us 5 minutes to be down by the beach!!! I miss HOME!!!!

Her new sunglasses and head band (isn't she beautiful?)

A couple weeks ago Aunt Mic, Uncle Mark, and I took Madison to Roaring Springs for the afternoon. She really enjoyed it. She had fun playing in the little kids area and also organizing the inner tubes. Madison kept calling them boats. There were some slides she was able to go down, but she hasn't figured out how to lift her feet so she got stuck half way down, so Mic or I had to climb up and get her.

My beautiful Miss Madison turned two on Friday. I still can't believe she is two. We just had a family BBQ at the house with Grandma and Grandpa Golden, Aunt Mic and Uncle Mark, Grandma McGee, and Aunt Dani and Uncle Aaron. Madison had a wonderful time playing in her new pool, opening her wonderful gifts, and eating her ice cream cake that she picked out. Thank you everybody who drove down to celebrate my beautiful daughters birthday (FYI.... next year it's a party at Roaring Springs so if you want to come start saving to visit us, we'd love to have you )
On Saturday Grandma McGee, Aunt Dani, and Uncle Aaron took Madison to the zoo so that she could feed the Giraffes. From what I've been told and the pictures it sounds like Madison had a wonderful time. I am glad that they were able to have that special time with Madison.
