We had a wonderful week this past week followed by a wonderful weekend with my Mom and Dad and Aunt Mic. The week started off with our friends the Sherman's coming into town for a visit and we were lucky enough to get to spend Tuesday with Lori, Luke, and Leslie ( Chris had to work, but we look forward to seeing him soon). Madison had a wonderful time with them, which is wonderful since we are spending a week with them in Disney World. Madison is so obsessed with babies that she wanted me to hold Leslie the entire time. Luke and Madison left off right where they were a year ago when the Sherman's moved away... that would be laying in bed with Luke pretending to take a nap and also shoving him around :)

Mom and Dad came into town on Thursday and just left this morning. We had a wonderful time with them, but it went by way too fast. Mom helped me on Friday do a seminar for my oncology esthetics for work. I really appreciate all of her help and am always amazed by her knowledge. Dad and Aunt Mic took Madison to the library on Friday and then he pretty much spent the whole weekend held hostage in Madison's playhouse outside :) We were lucky that the whole weekend was beautiful and we took full advantage of that. Yesterday, we took the dogs for a walk along the flooded Boise River, spent a little time at the park and then came home and had an early Easter dinner and egg hunt. Dad and Mark were able to go on a bike ride, but JR did not because he is getting over a sinus infection/cold which Madison is now coming down with. We had a wonderful time with our family around us and look forward to the day that we can live closer to Mom and Dad. Thank you for a wonderful weekend and we love you so much.

Madison did get in trouble when she threw her shoe out the window and Daddy had to run down a busy street to go get it.

Egg-stravaganza at the zoo!!!

Miss Madison put the basket on her head because it was windy outside. Going down the giraffe slide she looks so serious (or having a bowel movement) Mommy and Madison on the seal Riding on an elephant watching the Merkats sitting on the baby tiger Daddy and his little girl Madison wanted to sit on the big tiger, but the sign said "No" My favorite animal the sloth bear. She loves the animals The tigers were in a playful mood playing with their Easter toys. Daddy and Madison watching the monkeys swinging around headed to the zoo (not liking this picture) Daddy... if he looked any happier I think his face would crack (He's fighting a cold) Madison after I took the first picture Madison after she found out her surprise was the zoo Madison and Aspen Sunday was the Boise Zoo's egg-stravaganza and boy was it busy. We ended up signing up for the family pass and added Mic so now we can go all year long for free! It will be a nice alternative for us to do even if it's just for 30 min. Madison loved all of the animals and I think JR and I enjoy them just as much. There were people dressed up in "mascot" outfits and Madison was so concerned where they were the entire time we were at the zoo. Overall it was a great day and glad that we had this family time together. JR has been working a lot lately (some weeks it's been 90+ hours). I know I should be greatful that he has two jobs and that I am able to be home the majority of the time, but we really do miss him and with me being pregnant sometimes I'd just like a little more help and understanding from him.
