I want to wish JR and my Dad a very happy Father's Day. I have so many fond memories of my Dad: playing tennis, mountain bike riding, camping at youth events, going to the cabin to watch the meteor showers (still haven't been able to see them yet). I just hope that Madison has wonderful memories with JR like I do with my Dad.
I hope JR had a nice day. He slept until noon while Madison and I ran around doing errands for him. We picked up supplies for our dinner (homemade pizza), and then we bought him an apple fritter and coffee. When we got home, Madison pretty much ate the entire dougnut including the last bite that she ripped out of his hand like the boys do.
This past week Madison started swim lesssons. She did wonderful!!!!! The teacher already dunked her underwater, she is blowing bubbles, putting one cheek into the water, and sitting on the edge of the pool and leaning in to me. She is so funny because you can tell she is having fun, but she tries to play it so cool by having no reaction. Miss Madison also attended her first parade, the Meridian Dairy Days Parade with Aunt Mic and me. She really liked the parade, but did not like when the cards reeved their engines.
Her favorite song is Usher's OMG.... she loves it!!! I had a video of her dancing and singing, but some how it got erased so I will try it again.JR said my name one day so Madison started calling me Becca... thank goodness it only lasted that day.
