About Me

My photo
JR has been a paramedic for Ada County for the last 9 years. I also work for Ada County Paramedics in the Logistics Department. JR and I have known each other since middle school. He liked me in highschool, but I thought he was too goofy. We started dating our second year in college. We were married August 14th 2004 and had our little Madison July 30th 2008. Colin completed our family on October 11th, 2011.

Single Motherhood

Well, once again I am experiencing what it would be like to be a single mom. Madison and I got back from Coeur d'Alene on Monday and JR has only been home two nights since then and one day. I am exhausted and I am sure JR is also. Madison cries every night for her Daddy and begs him to come home. Luckily, he will be gone tonight and tomorrow, but will be home tomorrow night and all day Monday!!!!
The boys have also been gone all week. We had to leave them in Coeur d'Alene due to an unfortunate incident with our not so lovely neighbors. The short version of a very long story is that the neighbor dog attacked JR and the humane society guy and JR was afraid the hysterical neighbors might retaliate against our lovely dogs.
On another note the pregnancy is going well. My lower back has been bothering me and a stitch in my right side, but other than that I'm not doing too bad. I try to go to the gym as often as I can which is 100% more than I did with Madison. I love the gym because it's the only time I have to myself :)
playing with Madison's sprinkler ball... this is where I will be all summer... wish we had a pool!!!

Madison, Mic, Aspen, Demon, and I are at home in Coeurd' Alene. We came up to attend a wedding this weekend. The wedding was very beautiful and the reception was wonderful, a little rainy, but I think everybody really enjoyed themselves. Madison, Grandma, Aunt Mic, and even Papa danced a lot. Madison clapped, and stomped her feet, and had a really cute hip swagger.

Another traumatic moment for Madison!!!
Ok, My worst fear as a mother has come true and I have survived. It's not the worst thing that could happen, but anybody who knows me knows this is the one thing that I fear the most in life. Two weeks ago tomorrow Madison ended up with a stomach bug and threw up about 10 times Friday and then was ok Sat. and Sun. when Grandma and Papa were here, but woke up Monday and threw up all day and night about another 12 times!!!! She's gotten sick before, but nothing like this. We ended up taking her to the Ped. on Tuesday and she gave her some Zofran to help keep things down. The rest of the week she was fairly lethargic, but by last Friday she was pretty much back to her usual self. Poor Baby!!!! She kept telling me she was ok and the poor thing kept getting sick. I cried a couple of times, but we survived!!!
Brown Chicken, Brown Cow
Chris got the kids saying "Brown Chicken Brown Cow" and they went on for about 10 min. Notice that they are holding hands. I wish we had gotten more on video because it was hilarious the fights they got into!!!
