About Me

JR has been a paramedic for Ada County for the last 9 years. I also work for Ada County Paramedics in the Logistics Department. JR and I have known each other since middle school. He liked me in highschool, but I thought he was too goofy. We started dating our second year in college. We were married August 14th 2004 and had our little Madison July 30th 2008. Colin completed our family on October 11th, 2011.

Vegetarian

Madison crying because she wants raspberries

Madison is sooo cute when she cries

the infamous raspberries!!!!

Is one too early for your child to become a vegetarian? Madison does not want to eat her meat this week. I have to tell her no more fruit because I'm worried she's going to get diarrhea. She is so funny.... tonight we had chicken with pasta, green beans, tomatoes, raspberries, and some pumpkin bread. Miss Madison ate the tomatoes first, the raspberries second, some of the pasta, and bread and no chicken!!!!! We can't get her to eat meat. I'm sure Aspen and Demon are happy though because they get everything she doesn't eat because she tosses it on the floor.

End of summer

Madison kept gathering all the balls and putting them up in the basket

More playing ( I know.... she always has a binki)

Well, summer is coming to an end. It's supposed to get into the low 60s and high 50s this week. I wanted it to cool off, but not that much. What happened to the 70s? I think Boise can either do super hot or cold, but no in between!!!!

We had a great weekend. We went for an 11 mile bike ride today and before we turned around we stopped at Ben and Jerry's. Madison loves their raspberry sorbet. Then we did our normal, errands and chores :) We did eat outside tonight which is good because Madison loves to throw all of her food on the floor now. Miss Madison is going through a phase where she only likes her fruits and vegetables. Tonight she had plums, blueberries, cheese, tattor tots and hamburger. Guess what she ate? her fruit, cheese and sweet potatoes and the dogs got the rest. The funny thing was that before we ate she crawled over to the grape vine and picked grapes off of it and popped them into her mouth :) I'm worried though that she's not eating a balanced diet.

I am going to include pictures from last weekened from when we went to Luke's birthday party. He's a friend of Madison's that we met at the Little Gym.

I know the weather hasn't been very fall like, but I am changing my background to a fall one hoping that it will turn our weather to Indian summers and not 90 degree days!!!

This past weekend mom and dad were here. As always, we had a wonderful time. Saturday, JR and Dad did their typical foothills bike ride while Madison experienced her first art in the park. She had a great time people and dog watching. After the art show we met the men at Harry's for beer and burgers. It's nice when mom and dad are here because they watch Madison so that JR and I can catch a movie and so last night we saw Inglorious Basterds. While we were gone, Madison decided to gather up the dog bowls and a spoon and whip up something for Grandma and Grandpa. That is what is on the following video clips. She has such a fun personality and we end up spending most of the time watching her and laughing!!!! I hope everybody enjoys the pictures.

I want to say hi to my Aunt Theresa and to tell her that I love her very much.

Crooked River

Madison

We went for our first family hike in the woods today. It wasn't any of the foothills hikes through the desert, but a true Northern Idaho hike through the trees and along the river. The trail was the Crooked River trial about 17 miles outside of Idaho City. A couple of years ago we had gone snowshoeing in that area with mom and dad. It was very nice. There was a nice sandy beach that we stopped along that Madison was able to feel the sand and the dogs were able to play in the water. I stuck my feet in the water and JR climbed around the logs and rocks. The only mistake we made was thinking that Madison would sleep in the car on the way up or on the hike. She didn't do either of them!!!! She finally passed out on the way home at 3 until 3:30, so she's going to have an early bed.... we hope :)
