I was trying to make the bed, but the kids decided it was more fun to play in the comforter!!

JR showed Madison and Colin how to do a pushup against the wall.  Now it's their favorite thing to try and do themselves.

My Goal was to have Madison and Colin climb into bed with me before JR had to go to work for the night.  I love to watch a cartoon in bed before the kids go to bed, but this night they did not want to relax!  It was play time on the floor!

First Day of Kindergarten

Madison had her first day of Kindergarten last week at Eagle Elementary School of the Arts.  She did great and really seems to enjoy it.  She even has a classmate from her preschool class at Challenger that is now in her Kindergarten class.  Her teacher is Mrs. Amber Scott.
I took the day off so that I could be there to drop her off and pick her up.  She goes from 9 to noon every day of the week.  JR has changed his work schedule to Tuesday and Sundays for the county and Wednesday and Thursday nights for Life flight.  This enables him to take her and pick her up everyday except for Tuesdays.  Tuesdays, Uncle Mark takes her to school, I pick her up and take her to Heathers.
I think Madison will miss being at Heather's and seeing her best friend Kelvin.  They sure have a special bond and we have been so lucky to have her watch Madison and Colin and to know she loves them so much.  The good thing is JR works so much extra that it will end up being more than 1 day a week.
